01 — Who it's for
Who it's for
A sign is often the first thing people see of a neighborhood, a park or a business, and it has to hold up outdoors. We cut steel sign panels to your logo and lettering, and design the posts, base plates or wall mounts for the surface they go on.
We work with HOAs, developers, municipalities, parks, property managers and businesses across the Greater Seattle area, from a single entrance sign to a set that matches across a development.
Typical applications
- Neighborhood and HOA entrance signs
- Park, trail and community signs
- Development and property signs
- Business and building signs
- Replacement signs that match an existing set

03 — Process
How a project works
A typical project, from the first conversation to finished steel.
Step 1: Requirements
We start with what the piece is for, where it goes and what it has to fit or hold. Send drawings, photos, measurements or a rough sketch.
Step 2: Design (CAD)
We model it in CAD and work out how each part will be cut, formed and welded, so the design is practical to build and built to last.
Step 3: Fabrication
Parts are laser and plasma cut, formed on the press brake, then welded and assembled in our Duvall shop.
Step 4: Finishing & handoff
Powder-coated finishes are available. Pickup is in Duvall, and delivery may be available depending on size and location. Installation is usually handled by your contractor; we work out the mounting so they have what they need.

05 — Questions
Common questions
How is a custom sign priced?
Price depends on the size, the amount of cut detail, the material, the mounting and the finish. Send your artwork or a sketch and we'll come back with questions and a quote.
What artwork do you need?
Vector files (DXF, DWG, AI, SVG or PDF) are best. If all you have is a logo image or a sketch, send it anyway and we'll talk about drawing it up in CAD.
Do you install signs?
Installation may be available depending on the project, so ask when you request a quote. Otherwise you arrange installation through a contractor of your choice, and we work out the mounting (posts, base plates or wall mount) with you so your installer has what they need.
How long does it take?
It depends on the design and what's already in the shop. We'll talk through timing when we quote the project, before any work starts.
Can you match signs we already have?
Often, yes. Send photos and measurements of the existing signs and any original artwork you have.
06 — Your request
Getting a quote
The more we know about how it will be used, the more useful the first quote will be.
What to include in your request
- Where the sign will go, and how it should mount (posts, base plates, wall)
- Rough size, and how far away it needs to be read from
- Your artwork or logo files, or a sketch of the layout
- Wording, including exact spelling
- Photos of the site
- Quantity, timeline, and whether you'd like to ask about installation
Don't have all of it yet? Send what you have and we'll ask about the rest.
